Corporators likely to be sworn in by mid April

According to sources, the Regional Commissioner on Thursday visited the BBMP to finalise the preparations to welcome the 270-member strong council, including the MPs and MLAs. “The Regional Commissioner inspected the council seating, parking facilities and other nitty-gritties for the council to hold its sessions. The final date is likely to be announced in a few days,” said a BBMP official.
