Five police teams to trace I-T official's son

The Jnanabharathi police have formed five teams to trace the 19-year-old son of an Income-Tax officer who has been missing since September 14.

The family lodged a missing complaint after the teenager went out on his new Royal Enfield Bullet Classic motorcycle to meet his friends and did not return.

The teenager, Sharath N, has remained untraced even after five days. Police said that they have formed five teams and are exploring all angles.

“When we checked his mobile phone call record last time, it showed that he is still in the city. We are also questioning his friends, collegemates and family members to give us leads.

After a WhatsApp video was sent from his mobile phone to his father, mother and sister, there has been no message. The abductors might have got scared after the case was widely reported,” police said.

Police added they are also investigating the possibility that the boy himself sent the video or he was really kidnapped by someone.
