The committee constituted in June second week has said that considering the City’s growth, the connectivity is necessary. The committee has also said that the North Eastern region of the City is growing at a faster pace than the other parts and the traffic density too is increasing at a rapid pace and has said that the connectivity is much needed.

The committee was constituted following the public interest litigation by former University vice chancellors like Dwarkinath and G K Veeresh. The matter is likely to come up for hearing this week.
