There would be more induction of the CRPF in the Naxal influenced zones but the ground work for the neutralisation of Maoists or the ‘area domination’ would be carried out in tandem with the local police. There was only one local police head constable accompanying an odd 80-member CRPF force on April 6 as guide when hundreds of well-positioned Maoists killed 75 of them.
