Heavy rains in Srinivaspur

 A transformer burst when one of the branches of a peepal tree in front of the Choudeshwari Temple in the town broke off and fell on it.In Ramakrishna Layout a tree was uprooted and electric pole broke off causing some anxiety among residents. However no one was injured. The asbestos sheets of a godown in the areas were also blown away by gusty winds. The heavy rains lead to the over-flowing of the the drains and blocked the roads for a temporary period.
