<p>Kolar MLAVarthur Prakash announced on Sunday that he would launch a new party, Namma Congress, at a convention to be held in Vijayapura on December 19, reports DHNS from Almatti.<br />Eradicating social inequality and uplifting all sections of the society will be the major objectives of his party, the legislator told reporters after a meeting of his fans here.<br />Prakash said his party would field candidates in 100 constituencies in the upcoming Assembly election.</p>
