India's forex reserve up by $932m

During this period, foreign currency assets grew to $255.663 billion, up by $933 million as against $254.730 billion in the previous week, RBI said in its weekly data.

Foreign currency assets expressed in dollar terms include the effect of appreciation or depreciation of non-US currencies, such as Euro, Sterling and Yen held in the reserves. Gold reserves of the country in the week stood unchanged at $17.986 billion, it said. During the week, special drawing rights fell by $1 million to $5,000 million compared to $5,001 million in the previous week.
