The tragic incident occurred on Sunday. The boys have been identified as Pratikesh Prakash (7), Naveenkumar Prakash (11), Himmu Venkatappa (15).
They had gone for a swim around noon. A girl who had gone to wash clothes found the clothes of the boys on the bank of the lake and informed the villagers. The villagers later fished out the bodies of the children. Gurumitkal police have registered a case. Sub inspector Vijay Murugundi visited the spot.
