The arrested has been identified as A S Nagabhushan Aradhya, a middleman. The officials produced him before the court, which remanded him to the judicial custody.
A case was filed regarding the acquisition of 81 acres at villages coming under Yelwal hobli of Mysuru taluk. Following a complaint, the Lokayukta conducted a probe. Based on the report filed by the Lokayukta, the ACB filed an FIR recently. The ACB registered FIR against 46 people, including MLA G T Devegowda's son G D Harishgowda and brother G T Yaduvar. Devegowda was the Chairman of the KHB in the year 2008-09.
The ACB officials had earlier arrested five persons, including Assistant Executive Engineer M B Somasekhar, Assistant Engineer M Mahesh and middlemen Jnaneshwar, Vijay Kumar and former gram panchayat president N B Vasu. All of them are out on bail.
