During his visit to the city on Sunday as part of BJP's 'Parivarthana Yatre', BJPstate unit president BSYeddyurappa threw an open challenge to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to contest from Chamundeshwari Assembly segment in the upcoming general elections.

The people of Chamundeshwari will teach Siddaramaiah a lesson if he contests from the segment, he said.

Yeddyurappa asked the CMto disclose his contributions towards the people of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar.

Yeddyurappa said that Siddaramaiah has been claiming that he was imprisoned.

"But, he might have forgotten that All India Congress Committeepresident Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are out on bail. Iwas jailed as Idid not get bail," Yeddyurappa said. "The state government is shameless and thus Karnataka High Court rebuked the government," Yeddyurappa said.

As per a report, atrocities against SC/STs have increased after Congress party came to power in the state.

"The ministers in Siddaramaiah's cabinet have been indulging in irregularities and are looting people's money," he alleged.

The state government failed to spend the funds released from the Union.

Only 40-50% of the money have been invested on the works, the BJP State unit president said.

Siddaramaiah has no moral right to speak against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJPpresident Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Yeddyurappa said.
