<p class="title">Many like-minded citizens cleaned railway platforms and areas surrounding the KSR city railway station as part of a clean-up drive and eco-awareness campaign on Wednesday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Eco-Watch, South Western Railways and the Jain College had jointly organised the drive.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"The key objective of the campaign was to create awareness about waste, garbage disposal, the importance of maintaining cleanliness across the railway station," said Akshay Heblikar, Director (Projects) Eco-Watch.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Questionnaires were distributed to understand the awareness level of people about waste segregation and disposal methods.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Around 150 volunteers, members and staff from Jain College and Eco-Watch took part in the campaign.</p>
