Kingfisher starts Nepal flights

Vijay Mallya, chairman and chief executive officer of the group, flew to Kathmandu himself on Saturday for the inaugural flight. Kingfisher, which had flown more than a million visitors last year, will now run daily flights between New Delhi and Kathmandu.

In June, it will start direct flights between Mumbai and Kathmandu as well. The Kathmandu flight coincides with the launch of two more Kingfisher flights to Dubai, from New Delhi and Mumbai. Kingfisher is using the Airbus A320 aircraft for the Kathmandu flights.
