Reshma, Nikita clinch titles

Reshma won 22-20, 21-14 in the final. Poorvisha will, however, have a chance to avenge her defeat when she takes on Reshma in the under-16 final on Monday. Reshma registered a 21-19, 21-15 win over R Devika in her semifinal encounter and Poorvisha put it across S Arsheen 21-15, 21-13 to set up a final clash with Reshma.

Nikita Ramesh posted a 21-12, 21-15 win against Trissa Hegde to bag the girls’ under-10 title.

In the boys’ under-19 category, Rajas Jawalkar and Abhishek Yeligar posted similar wins in their respective semifinals to book their place in the title clash.
Rajas fought past Karthik M to win 14-21, 21-18, 21-8 and Abhishek managed to do the same with a 19-21, 21-10, 21-19 win against RN Suraj.
