MPVL to supply 1.32L vials of indelible ink

City-based Mysore Paints and Varnish Limited (MPVL) is all set to supply 1,32,000 vials of indelible ink and 20,000 packets of sealing wax for the Assembly elections in the state.

In a press conference, here, MPVL chairman H A Venkatesh said, MPVL is the only company in India that supplies indelible ink to the entire nation and to many foreign countries. "The Election Commission has placed an order for indelible ink and wax worth Rs 2.06 crore. Each vial containing 10 ml of the ink will be produced within a month's time," he said.

The MPVL chairman said that the Election Commission has also placed an order for one lakh bottles, each containing 60 ml ink, for the general elections in Malaysia. The ink worth Rs 8 crore will be supplied to Malaysia soon, he informed.
