'Congress has fulfilled its promises'

The state government has fulfilled its promises during elections, said Women Congress National Committee general secretary Janet D'Souza.

Speaking during the meeting of women office bearers of Mysuru Congress, she said the chief minister has implemented various programmes for women, children and economically less privileged. She called upon workers to go to people and tell them about the achievements of the government. Those eligible for the schemes should be guided to use the benefits.

District Congress Committee president Dr D L Vijayakumar said that the state government will give preference to women in boards and corporations if comes to power again.
