CREDAI Expo is back!

Last Updated 08 March 2018, 17:21 IST

CREDAI-Bengaluru's annual property showcase, the CREDAI Property Expo is all set for its first edition post the implementation of RERA and GST, and is opening on March 10 to an upbeat market. Scheduled to take place across three venues over consecutive weekends, this first expo will be inaugurated at Kalyani Kala Mandir, Bannerghatta Road, and will be on from March 10 to March 11.  In keeping with its dedicated efforts to bringing the best homes for the people of Bengaluru onto a single platform, CREDAI-Bengaluru Property Expo will have around 21 developers showcasing their properties. Around four financial institutions are also expected to take part in this.

Speaking on the first of these three expos,  Ashish Puravankara, president, CREDAI-Bengaluru, says, "Despite 2017 being a tumultuous year for real estate, with GST, RERA and the  aftershocks of demonetisation, research shows that residential property absorption has actually seen an increase. In fact, Bengaluru, in a seven-city survey by Anarock Property Consultants, was among the only two cities to show an increase in new home supply as well as absorption rates. This research also shows  the ratio of end-users vs. investors in the Indian residential sector is 70:30. This despite the recent increase in bank lending rates. This goes to show that now more than ever is a great time to invest in real estate."

Ashish further adds, "Going by the upward trend in the Bengaluru market, our endeavour is to bring the best quality homes under one roof through these home fests. The whole idea is to make homebuying easy and seamless."

Adarsh Narahari, secretary, CREDAI-Bengaluru, says, "This is our first major expo post the GST and RERA, and we have seen an uptick in the market as well as in the number of enquiries. Providing the ideal platform that brings together the public, builders, as well as financial institutions, ensures we close all gaps that may exist. With expos on consecutive weekends at varying locations, we are ensuring that the homeseekers of of Bengaluru have access to the entire range of CREDAI properties available."

Bimal Hegde, chairman, CREDAI-Bengaluru Expo Committee, says, "We have always wanted to provide people with a good choice of quality properties that follow the stringent rules of CREDAI. Our expos have always been welcomed and the response has always been phenomenal, as we have seen every consecutive year. This is a single platform that brings together prospective buyers, builders with properties and financial institutions. Effective interaction ensures that people get a good deal, some offers of which are also specific to sign-ons that happen at the expo."

One of the main USPs of this expo is the fact that the venue of the exhibition is a centrally located one. Given the hectic pace of life, this ease of access is most appreciated, especially since it takes place on a weekend. The next two expos will run simultaneously between March  16-18 at White Orchid, Manyata Tech Park, and  March  17- 18 at Park Plaza, Marathahalli.
