The Academy Award winning actress shocked all of Hollywood by revealing she has an adopted son, three and a half months old Louis Bardo, whom she brought home just weeks prior to the breakdown of her marriage.

She is pictured with the child, who was born in New Orleans, on the cover of the latest issue of People magazine."He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way. It's like he's always been a part of our lives," said Bullock who interestingly won the coveted Oscar trophy for her portrayal of a foster mother who adopts an African American teenager in 'The Blind Side'.

The 45-year-old actress and James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago.
Bullock who confirmed that she has filed for divorce from the biker to end her 5-year-long marriage will now adopt as a single parent.

Speaking of her decision to seek divorce from James who allegedly cheated on her with many women, she said, "I'm sad and I am scared."

The former couple initially decided to keep the news of the adoption secret until after the Academy Awards, which saw her named best actress for 'The Blind Side'. But just 10 days after her triumph at the March 7 ceremony, tattoo model Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee went public with claims she had an 11-month affair with James.

James apologised, conceding he had shown "poor judgement". More allegations of infidelity followed and James subsequently checked into a treatment facility to address "personal issues".

He was spotted near his Huntington Beach home without his wedding ring on Monday after completing a 30-day rehab stint. James, who has three children, Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15, was previously married to a former porn star, Janine Lindemulder.
