The 15-minute ''Last of the Tattooed Head Hunters'', directed by Vikeyeno Zao and produced by Indrajit Narayan Dev under the banner Hawksbill Productions, aims at projecting the Konyaks in their homeland, their traditions and ancient customs and their plight today.

The film will be screened in the Short Film Corner of the festival which begins on May 12.
The script is written by an air force veteran, Air Cdr (retd) D J Sharma.

According to Vikeyeno, the film is important as people will get to know about these last tattooed Konyak Naga tribes before they are gone forever. The film tells why the tribe, dubbed as savages, took to the practice of headhunting, which is prevalent in some countries.
