She enjoys the rough and tumble of politics. She has filed her nomination papers for the upcoming gram panchayat elections, seeking a fourth term. And, she has the confidence to emerge victorious.

She was elected as Mandal Panchayat member during 1986 and she continued her victory spree during the next elections. She was elected as Gram Panchayat member for three terms and once elected as the president of the Gram Panchayat too. Siddamma kept herself away from the last Panchayat election as she was bed ridden. This time, the villagers approached her and convinced her to file nomination.
