Three youths were allegedly attacked with lethal weapons by a gang wearing masks at Kasaba Bengre in Mangaluru on Sunday night.
The victims are Anviz, Mohammed Shiraz and Mohammed Izaz, all residents of Kasaba Bengre. All have been shifted to private hospitals in Mangaluru. The incident occurred when they were headed to Thannirbavi from Kasaba Bengre. The police suspect that a personal rivalry led to the attack.
Nikitha Cutinha (16), a student of St Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru, succumbed to the injuries she suffered after she met with an accident at Derebail when a car knocked her down on March 25.
