Fundamentum invests in TravelTriangle

Online holiday marketplace TravelTriangle has raised Rs 78 crores in Series C round of funding led by Fundamentum, a growth-capital fund backed by Nandan Nilekani and Sanjeev Aggarwal.

This is the first investment by Fundamentum after it closely evaluated more than 50 companies.  Fundamentum Partner Ashish Kumar will join the TravelTriangle board, a release said. The round also saw participation from SAIF Partners, Bessemer Ventures, RB Investments and a clutch of angel investors.

The funds to be utilised to strengthen technology, expand to new destinations and to increase brand visibility, a company release said.
