Bajaj Auto said in a statement that this April its total two-wheeler sales jumped by 84 per cent to 2,76,122 units, compared to 1,50,252 units in the same period a year ago.
The company reported a rise of 98 per cent in three- wheeler sales during last month at 37,350 units as against 18,867 units during the same month last year.
Total sale in the last month stood at 3,13,472 units compared to 1,69,119 units in the same period a year ago, a growth of 85 per cent, the statement said, adding its exports went up 120 per cent to 1,13,911 units from 51,887 units.
