The movie was shot in many beautiful places like Kashmir, Thirthahalli and many small towns which are located on the Western Ghats.

While shooting near the holy Amarnath cave, the entire team of Sihi Muthu flew on a chopper to a location near the cave for shooting. After winding up the shooting, the chopper came back to pick them up but due to bad weather conditions, it was impossible for the chopper to land. Finally, the team ended up spending the night there and had an adventurous time with the Indian Army troops.

An excited Dhyan says, “It was awesome to stay back over there in that tough and cold terrain along with our army. They were so helpful that they provided us food and shelter and we spent a comfortable night there. Some good entertainment was also arranged for us by the army. Moreover, this was the last day of shooting and it came to an end in a very unexpected manner. It was a wonderful and daring expedition for me.”

As it was the last day of shooting, Dhyan had planned to join his family in Goa for a vacation but it got delayed due to this incident. However he found the delay worthwhile. He says, “I had a lot of fun-filled adventurous stories to tell my family.”

Dhyan also feels he is turning into the Rishi Kapoor of Sandalwood. “Rishi Kapoor was known for introducing new heroines to the industry. Similarly, in most of my Kannada movies, I have brought in new heroines. Through Nanna Preethiya Hudugi Deepali came in, with Sihi Muthu, Dimple Chopda will set foot in the industry, Sajni brought in Sharmila Mandre and there is another untitled film with another newcomer Lekha Washington,” he signs off.
