JOIN USLIC has decided to dispense with the death certificate in the case of the air-crash victims; with a view to expeditiously settling the claims.
Also, death in the air crash will be treated as accident and accident benefit would be payable wherever accident benefit is applicable under the policy conditions. In case of policies where an assignment is existing, claim will be settled after due verification of the title under the policy, according to a press release.
