Indian Oil Corporation, on Friday reported a 246 per cent jump in net profit for 2009-10 fiscal and said it is considering reviving projects it had put on backburner due to cash crunch earlier.
Net profit stood at Rs 10,220.55 crore in 2009-10 fiscal against Rs 2,949.55 crore in the previous year, IOC Chairman B M Bansal told reporters here. IOC reported a net profit to Rs 5,556.77 crore for the January-March quarter. Sales or income from operations rose 24.8 per cent to Rs 66,116.20 crore in Q4 of 2009-10.
