Bajrang Dal activists stage indefinite stir

Last Updated 05 July 2010, 17:41 IST

The protesters said that though the cave was damaged two years ago, it has not been repaired yet.

Addressing the protesters, Dal Leader Khandya Praveen said that District administration had prevented the activists from staging protest last month by stopping them at Kaimara. During this incident the district administration had made certain promises to the activists, which has not been fulfiled yet.

“The district administration had said that the repair works will be start within 15 days, but it never happened. The Government has been lying time and again about Dattapeet repair. Let the Government declare that it is incapable of getting the caves repaired. The next move will be taken up by the Hindus,” he said and added that DC has not been giving proper information to the Bajrang Dal. “The Bajrang Dal activists have read all the verdicts of the Courts with regard to Dattapeet. Hence the standard answer of the Government that Court verdict is an impediment to take up developmental works will not work anymore,” he said and declared that the organisation will never step back from its cause.
