My differences with CM are ideological, says Eshwarappa

“Raghavendra is like my son and I will extend my support to him. My differences with Yeddyurappa are not personal but ideological. He is our unquestionable leader and the government will complete its full term under him,” he declared at a function organised by BJP city unit. Acknowledging the contribution of Yeddyurappa to his political career, Eshwarappa alleged that the questions raised by him over dynastic politics and involvement of party leaders in election irregularities were misquoted by a section of the media.

Debates and discussions are not new to BJP, a party with a difference. Unfortunately, some issues which should have been discussed within four walls became public. The ‘debate’ witnessed by BJP after LS elections has strengthened the party, he said. Terming the visit of Arun Jaitley as ‘successful’, he said that many questions were answered and confusions were cleared during the visit.

The minister who had earlier remarked that the party cadres, who strived for the victory of Raghavendra were hurt by CM’s comment on slender victory margin for his son, said that it forms the responsibility of leaders in power to fulfil the aspirations of party workers.
