Held for hoax calls

The suspect, disappointed at failing a job interview at the firm, allegedly stole the team leader’s cellphone intending to cause problem for the company staff. He had called the police control room No. 100 on July 8 and informed that a bomb had been placed near a lake in Cubbon Park. He again called the next day at 9.30 pm and told them that a bomb was kept in Vidhana Soudha.

However, the police could track him following the details of the cellphone numbers from which he made the two calls.
