Tassavar Ahmed travelled from Daman, Saudi Arabia to Bangalore in July 2009 through Bright Care.

When he boarded the flight the flight attendants took away his handbag saying that it would be returned at the destination, despite his reluctance to part with the bag that contained jewellwery and phone.

After several requests the bag was returned but without valuables.
He approached the Forum which directed the airlines to pay Rs 1.6 lakh to the consumer along with Rs 10,000 as compensation for deficient service and loss of valuables.
