<p>Speaking on the sidelines of the Indian Oil National ranking table tennis tournament here on Saturday, TTFI secretary Dhanraj Choudhary said: <br /><br />“We have shortlisted one person for the job (for junior and cadet teams) but we need two more coaches — one for the Kolkata Centre of Excellence and one to conduct training sessions in different associations around the country. <br /><br />“I will be meeting a Chinese delegation in New Delhi and we will try and work out a proposal.”<br /><br />Choudhary also said he will request the government to extend national coach Massimo Constantini’s contract, taking into account the results he has achieved in recent times.<br /><br />Choudhary also expressed confidence in the ability of the ad-hoc committee — which is running the table tennis affairs in Karnataka — to put the sport in order quickly in the State.<br />Choudhary, who is to meet ad-hoc committee president J Alexander on Sunday, said the panel had the ability to conduct democratic elections soon.<br /><br />“This committee has done what the previous committee refused to do. They have worked really hard in bringing about a change and I know a legal body is just around the corner. <br />“Once the election process is complete, I will try and bring an international championship to Karnataka.”</p>
