Dual SIM phone provides vital clue

The police claim that the SIM card purportedly used by Priyanka was actually in the dual SIM card phone owned by Satish Kumar.

Satish had earlier told the police that he received a call from his wife before her murder. It is impossible to make a call and to receive it simultaneously in a handset with dual SIM card facility, say investigating officers.

The police are now probing why Satish misled the police and what drove him to fabricate a story. The senior police officers have decided to collect more technical evidences before arresting the suspect. They give two reasons for delay in making the arrest. First, the police want to ascertain the identity of the suspect thoroughly and they want to ensure the suspect does not get bail.

The police subjected Satish to a detailed interrogation after the cremation. They claim it is confirmed that three persons were involved in the murder, two directly and one indirectly, added the sources.
