Paris Hilton to fight USD 35 million hair lawsuit

Hairtech International sued the hotel heiress on August 11, after she reportedly wore their rival's products and for missing the launch party of the 'Dream Catchers' range in 2007 as she was in jail at the time for driving on a suspended license.

Hilton's attorneys have sought to "vigorously" counter the lawsuit by the company and insist that the lawsuit lacks merit, Contactmusic reported.

"There is no merit whatsoever to any of these claims. We will pursue all of our defences vigorously and any potential counter claims," a statement from Hilton's spokesperson Dawn Miller has said.

The company had signed up the 29-year-old realityv TV star to be the spokesperson for their range of clip-in locks, paying her USD 3.5 million in lieu.
