Yashas’ 28-point effort helped Bharat Sports Club score a comprehensive 61-36 win over Mounts Club Lakers in the boys’ club division of the Mahindra NBA Challenge basketball league here at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium courts on Saturday.
Leading by eight points at halftime (31-23), Bharat stepped up the game in the second half scoring at will while stifling the Mounts Club offence at the same time that eventually saw them pull away and complete a 25-point win. Yashas was ably supported by Hrishikesh who scored eleven points.
