The victim Anu alias Bhagyaraju, a resident of Old Bagaloor was said to have killed due to suspected ‘rivalry.’ The police said his body was found with multiple stab injuries in KPSC Layout on Saturday.
“He had gone out with some of his friends in evening to a local bar and remained there till late in the night. He was stabbed several times. We are yet to find out the persons who accompanied him to the bar,” the police added.
Suicide
In a separate incident, a 32-year-old person Paresh was found dead in Chandra Layout on Saturday. He was working as a cashier in a chit fund company.
The police said he committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence while his wife was out for ‘Varamahalakshmi pooja’. He did not leave any suicide note, police added.
