Honour killing: Boy hacks sister to death, stabs lover

Sudhir Kumar allegedly killed his younger sister Indra Kumari, a class VIII student, in Khaiyan village yesterday, police said today.Indra and Satish, a guard at a cell phone tower in Khaiyan, were into a love relationship for past some time.

Police said Indra's brother Sudhir, an intermediate student, had objected to their relationship several times in the past.Yesterday, Sudhir allegedly spotted his sister in a compromising position with Satish and in a fit of rage attacked the duo with a sharp edged weapon, killing Indra on the spot, police said.

Satish suffered multiple stab wounds and was referred to a Lucknow hospital, they said.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered and police have launched a manhunt to trace Sudhir.
