Umesh Chandra, an IRS officer, went missing from Ludhiana on the September 7. Chandra, posted as Additional Commissioner of Income Tax in Ludhiana, went missing from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) where he had gone for an evening walk.
PAU is adjacent to Aaykar Bhawan (Income Tax Office). At that time, he was wearing a blue shirt and blue bermudas and white sports shoes.
