Mangamma visited and scrutinised the conditions of the Hostel on Wednesday evening. <br /><br />She also gathered information by speaking to the inmates of the hostel, before giving the orders to Kunjappa, to dismiss the warden.<br /><br />Unchanged<br /><br />A previous visit to the Hostel too had brought several problems to light. It was learnt that the girls are denied a lot of facilities. The warden was warned to perform her duties effectively and diligently. <br /><br />But the condition of the Hostel was found to be the same even on Wednesday. As such, the warden, Manjulamma will be dismissed, explained Mangamma.<br /><br />Disorderliness<br /><br />A lot of systems in the Hostel were in a disorderly state, when Mangamma paid a surprise visit on Wednesday. <br /><br />Although Hostel rules require a day-to-day recording of the inmates’ attendance, the register showed entry on just two days.<br /><br />Out of proportion<br /><br />Records related to purchase of goods for the Hostel too have no entries since September 1. There was a great difference between the number of students in the Hostel and the amount of food supplies purchased. <br /><br />The inmates of the Hostel informed Mangamma that the Pre-matriculation section, which has 35 students, had used just three kilograms of rice.<br /><br />The students also complained to Mangamma that the warden often used foul language while speaking to them.</p>
