Bus passes: Students demand refund

Addressing the protesters, Prem, Secretary (Central Zone), alleged that both the Corporations have failed to return Rs 200, which was collected in excess towards issuing bus passes even after two months since the Chief Minister and the Transport Minister announced the reduction in fare. 

Gagan, Secretary, complained that the authorities have failed to respond to the repeated request by the students and parents. 

Later, the Organisation’s City President Ravi Kumar led the delegation of students to the Minister for Transport, R Ashok, who promised to make arrangement to refund them the amount shortly.
