'Cong-BJP alliance affected JD(S) in Kadur bypolls'

Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday, he said “JD(S) had taken the election as prestigious issue. We had hopes on the victory of Y S V Datta. In spite of losing the election, we have won the election morally.”

He said “BJP had won the election on the basis of caste politics, money power and by misusing the government machinery. Owing to the secret alliance, Congress had given 8,000 to 10,000 votes to BJP.”
He said that Election Commission was inactive during the byelection and worked in favour of the State government.

The Chief Minister had assured to adopt Kadur during the campaign.
Accordingly, special grant must be released to Kadur for the developmentr of the constituency.He urged the BJP leaders to release a list of works to be undertaken for the integrated development of Kadur.
