Hearing an appeal by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Justice N Anand has issued arrest warrant against him for not responding to the notice ordered by the court. The CBI had appealed against the acquittal order of the CBI special court on Sept 19, 2003.
The Special Court had acquitted S Bangarappa, former chief minister, J Alexander, former additional chief secretary and Gokul Krishna, Praveen Bhambri and P Govindaraj, in a case related to purchase of computers for Government departments.
