When the weather condition got better, the duo completed their final runs of the practice on the prime tyres.
Mark Webber set the fastest time of 1:54.589 in his 10 laps ahead of Mercedes' Michael Schumacher (+0.119secs).
Both Sutil (+0.238secs) and Liuzzi (+0.921secs) were within a second behind Webber's timing.
