In the video, Babil appeared emotionally upset and labelled Bollywood as "the fakest place". Babil even called out names of Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal for being very rude.</p><p>After this fiasco, Babil had de-activated his Instagram after the video started flooding social media. Hours later, he re-activated his Instagram account after receiving messages of support from Ananya Panday, Raghav Juyal, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kubbra Sait. </p>.<p>“Thank you so much. The video was extremely misinterpreted. I was trying to show support to @ananyapanday @shanayakapoorO2 @gouravadarsh @arjunkapoor @raghavjuyal @arijitsingh. I genuinely don't have the energy to indulge more, but I do this as a responsibility for my peers that I truly admire (sic)" Babil wrote.</p><p>In an official statement shared on Instagram by his mother and producer, Sutapa Sikdar, Babil's team clarified that he was having a tough day, noting that he has been open about his mental health journey.</p><p>While celebrities like Ananya Panday, Raghav Juyal, Kubbra Sait and others supported Babil, filmmaker Sai Rajesh slammed the actor. He took to his Instagram stories and shared a lengthy note. The story read, "To Babil Khan's team. Do you really think we’re that naive to just walk away silently? What kind of attitude are we being subjected to? It feels like only those whose names were mentioned in his video deserve respect — and the rest of us are just fools for standing by him all this while?” (sic).</p>.<p>Sai further said that he deserves an apology from Babil. He also wrote, “If you’re making them feel valued just because he gave them a shoutout, and ignoring the rest of us — then yes, we do deserve an apology for how things have been handled. I genuinely wanted to stand by him even until an hour ago. But if you're taking us for granted, that stops here. These sympathy games won't work on us anymore. A sincere apology is the least you owe us. Say it, and let's move on." Sai later deleted the post.</p><p>Taking to the comments section, Babil posted several comments. After everything I’ve given to you. @satish_naidu1982 2 years of my life, complete physical atrocity to my body just so I can do justice to his character, I gave him my soul, rejected everything that came in my way for 2 years, anything and everything he needed, for 500 days of my life."</p><p>Reportedly, Babil was part of Sai's remake of his film <em>Baby</em> and was rigorously working for the project and denoted 500 days.</p><p>Meanwhile, Babil’s team issued a clarification, saying the video has been "widely misinterpreted and taken out of context".</p><p>In the statement, Babil’s team urged media publications and the public to consider "the full context of his words rather than drawing conclusions from fragmented video clips".</p>
