Existence a merciless complication: Amitabh Bachchan posts a cryptic message amid concerns over his health

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has taken to Twitter to post a cryptic message about life being a 'merciless complication' apparently touching upon his health issues. The 'Megastar' had on Saturday (February 27) revealed on his blog that he would be undergoing surgery for a 'medical condition. Following this, several fans had wished him a speedy recovery.

Big B and his immediate family, barring wife Jaya Bachchan, had tested positive for Covid-19 last year but soon recovered. The star stayed in touch with his fans through social media even when he was in the hospital.

AB Sr, meanwhile, remains the undisputed 'Shahenshah' of Bollywood despite the emergence of younger stars. He was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo, which released directly on a streaming platform as opposed to in theatres. The Shoojit Sircar-helmed dramedy featured Ayushmann Khurrana as the parallel lead and clicked with the target audience.

'Vijay' will soon be seen in the thriller Chehre, which marks his first collaboration with popular actor Emraan Hashmi. The film features Rhea Chakraborty in a key role but the Tuneega Tuneega star is not visible in the first look poster. Chehre is slated to hit the screens on April 30.

Bachchan will be continuing his tryst with multi-starrers with the eagerly-awaited movie Mayday, which stars Ajay Devgn. The film features Rakul Preet as the leading lady and may prove to be a game-changer for her. Big B will be returning to Tollywood with the pan-India movie Prabhas 21, which features Prabhas and Deepika Padukone as the lead pair, The Nag Ashwin-helmed biggie revolves around the concept of the 'inner God' and may have shades of the Chiranjeevi-starrer Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, which was dubbed in Hindi as Aadmi Aur Apsara.

Big B also has the sports drama Jhund, directed by Marathi director Nagraj Manjule, and a movie with Queen director Vikas Bahl in his kitty.
