Aamir along with his co-stars and Director Rajkumar Hirani, who hails from city, was here for a show.
To a query on recent ragging incidents in KEM College, Mumbai, Hirani said there was no question of students picking up ragging after watching the film.
"The film does not glorify ragging, it gives a message against it," Hirani said.
To a question on suicide committed by three school children in Mumbai, Aamir said these days students are under considerable.
"Parents should realise children's likings and dislikings and allow them to grow. Children need counselling and they should not left alone or ignored. Children are more alert nowadays," he added.
Talking about the movie, Aamir said, 'Taare Jameen Par' was based on primary education while '3 idiots' takes a critical view of our higher education system.
