<p>Days after the stampede incident in Tirupati that claimed the lives of six devotees, TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao asserted that TTD's jurisdiction extends solely to Tirumala, under their complete responsibility. </p><p>Talking to reporters in Tirumala along with TTD chairman BR Naidu on Monday, Syamala Rao claimed that many pilgrim initiatives have been taken which were cheered by the devotees across the globe in the last six months span,</p><p>"In Tirupati, the administration and law and order are under the control of the district collector and SP, respectively, and as far as crowd management is concerned, it lies with the police. The unfortunate incident was caused by some protocol issues," he said.</p><p>"And the unfortunate incident happened due to some protocol issues. An investigation is underway. The judicial inquiry will bring to the fore the exact reason for the mishap," he added. </p><p>He further said added that as per the orders of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, TTD has taken many steps without causing any trouble to the devotees. </p><p>“We are also contemplating using technology and co-ordinating with the district administration, SP for a hassle free execution of events in future,” he maintained.</p><p>Condemning the rumours on social media that there is a wide gap between TTD Chairman and EO, BR Naidu appealed to the devotees not to get carried away by this false propaganda on Tirumala.</p><p>The TTD Chairman said the tragic incident that occurred on January 8 was truly heart-rending and the entire world was shocked at the mishap and claimed that reports that the incident took place due to lack of coordination between TTD board and officials was totally untrue.</p>.Tirupati stampede: TTD to start distributing cheques to deceased victims' families, injured get special 'Vaikunta Dwara' darshan.<p>The Chairman asserted that all the arrangements have been made for the devotees to have a comfortable darshan through Vaikunta Dwaram for ten days from January 10-19. </p><p>"The devotees also expressed immense happiness and thanked the CM of AP and TTD for the arrangements. But some social media platforms are propagating against TTD and hurting the sentiments of devotees which is not at all correct," he said.</p><p>Syamala Rao also said that TTD has enhanced the taste of Laddus, Annaprasadams, quality of ghee, over 40 thousand brokers were removed.</p>.Minor electrical spark near laddu counter at Tirupati temple extinguished.<p><strong>Short circuit</strong></p><p>Meanwhile, smoke spread due to burning of a UPS wire in counter number 47 of Srivari Laddu Complex on Monday. The staff noticed it immediately and the smoke was controlled. </p><p>The incident led to panic among the crowd. The fire broke out at counter number 47 due to a short circuit in the UPS system connected to the computer. The staff immediately rushed to the spot and made efforts to bring the smoke under control, said a TTD official.</p><p>TTD also cautioned drivers and two wheeler riders to travel with caution on the ghat roads as there are possibility of accidents due to the dense fog and because of which the vehicles moving ahead cannot be seen properly. </p>
