Belagavi records lowest temperature of 9.4 degrees of the season

Belagavi: Belagavi recorded the lowest temperature of the winter season till now, with 9.4 degree temperature being recorded on Tuesday.

Since the beginning of the season, temperatures have been dipping. In the third week of November, the lowest temperature, 12.8 degrees, was recorded, while the highest temperatures were in the range of 24 to 27 degrees.

Cyclone Fengal resulted in overcast conditions and rain, which led to the lowest temperatures being in the range of 15 degrees to 17 degrees.

Tuesday they were at their lowest of the season, 9.4 degrees.

Normal life in the city has been affected by chilling temperatures, making it difficult for people to venture out during the evenings and early mornings. As temperatures have been falling since the weekend, the number of people going for morning and evening walks has also come down.

The Meteorological Department office here informed that the lowest temperature of 9.4 degrees of the season was recorded on Tuesday.
