ACB sleuths find more assets of BBMP chief engineer

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have dug out more assets belonging to K T Nagaraju, chief engineer at the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).

The officials on Thursday opened the locker at the Bank of Baroda branch at Jayanagar, 3rd Block, where they found gold weighing 531 gm. The gold has been valued at Rs 13 lakh.

The ACB sleuths also found a diamond necklace with stones worth Rs 22 lakh. This apart, silver weighing 430 gm was found in the locker.

Earlier, the ACB sleuths had seized documents pertaining to 139 acres of coffee estate in Belur and Sakaleshpur from the house of Nagaraju at Jayanagar, 3rd Block.

Nagaraju possessed four sites, two houses and a commercial complex in Mysuru. The ACB sleuths had found Rs seven lakh in new currency and 800 gm of gold jewellery from the house.
