<p>Bengaluru: BBMP Chief Commissioner M Maheshwar Rao on Tuesday inspected the Sarjapur road-widening works. He directed officials to resolve land acquisition issues, including payment of compensation, so that the service road can be widened.</p>.<p>"The main road from Iblur Junction to Carmelaram RJ Tech Park, spanning 4.7 km, has already been widened to 45 metres and asphalted in 2022. Due to delays in acquiring certain properties under the Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) scheme for the service road, progress on development has been hindered,” Rao learnt.</p>.Use cold mix & eco-fix material to fill potholes: Administrator Tushar Girinath to BBMP .<p>He also directed engineers to develop Iblur Junction, Haralur Road Junction, and Kasavanahalli Road Junction.</p>.<p>Noticing that sewage was being directly discharged into the stormwater drain from the Srinivasa Classic residential complex, he directed imposing Rs 1 lakh fine on the property owners. He further ordered officials to take immediate steps to prevent further sewage discharge and instructed desilting of the drain in preparation for the monsoon.</p>
