<p>Bengaluru: BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath announced on Friday that 200 hi-tech public toilets will soon be constructed in Mahadevapura Zone.</p>.<p>The decision follows requests received during a grievance redressal meeting in the area. </p>.BBMP faces flak for leasing Jayanagar playground for commercial events.<p>"Empty sites are being identified in Mahadevapura for the construction of these toilets. Once the land is finalised, tenders will be floated for their development,” Girinath said. </p>.<p>The chief commissioner also inspected the KR Puram zone and surrounding areas, which are experiencing a surge in mosquito breeding due to stagnant water in stormwater drains. Problem areas with water stagnation were identified, and fogging operations were carried out on Friday to mitigate the issue. </p>
