Two moving cars were damaged when a reinforcement cage crashed on them at a Namma Metro site near Apollo Hospitals on Bannerghatta Road, South Bengaluru, on Thursday night. No one was injured, police said.
BMRCL workers were lifting the iron beam cage - used for building metro piers - with a crane. The crane's hook slipped and the cage fell on the rear end of the cars moving on the road.
A senior police officer said both the parties reached a compromise whereby the BMRCL offered to fund the cars' repair. The matter was reported to the police but no case was registered.
